About Me.
Ava van Ameringen (van - AHM - er - ring - en) is a 5'5 bubbly, wide-eyed actress located in Virginia Beach, VA. She graduated from VCUarts with her BFA in Performance, where she was awarded the Theatrical Promise Award by the department. There, she was a member of her college's improv team, the co-host of a variety show, and performed with a sketch comedy group. She also performed in various plays, musicals, and student films whilst taking acting, dancing, and singing lessons.
Besides performing, she enjoys going to the gym, reading scripts, and modeling. Currently, she is working in film and commercial, utilizing her training from Theatre. She learned the importance of having Theatrical training prior to stepping into the film world from her grandfather, the late actor Peter Jason
(Deadwood, The Karate Kid, 48 Hrs., etc.) and aspires to carry the same love, kindness, and of course, the same humor he did throughout his career, in hers.
